The show, which is written/directed by Louis, is centered around his life as a recently divorced father with two daughters. It began airing on June 29, 2010, and has 6 episodes to date.

Just For Laughs just announced the line up for the 2010 Toronto Festival scheduled for July 6th-11th. Louis CK is scheduled hosting the West Jet Gala on Friday July 9th at 9:30pm.
Just For Laughs debuted in 1983. It is the world’s largest and most prestigious comedy festival, representing 23 days of laughter, 1.5 million festival goers, more than 1500 artists in 12 countries and more than 1200 outdoor and indoor performances. Louis CK is making a return to television with his new FX series, Louie. The semi-autobiographical show will make its network premiere June 29th at 11pm, following Rescue Me.
Louis CK made his first stab at a TV series with HBO’s short lived and under-rated, Lucky Louie. Much buzz has been circulating around the most highly anticipated event in comedy this year, with CK serving as executive producer, writer, and director. The show is currently locked in for thirteen episodes.
